Qatar may seem to offer limited options for exploring green spaces but few have paddled the local mangroves and experienced that magic light, sound, and feeling. Even a short trip into mangrove forests during high tide is awe inspiring. Presenter: Adbulla Al Misnad
Abdulla Al Misnad has long been interested in the challenges of sustainable development. He started his career as a project engineer developing software simulations of large infrastructure projects in Qatar before moving to oil and gas where he was most recently an energy efficiency specialist with Shell Global Solutions. As part of his career with Shell, Abdulla was sent on an expedition to Antarctica to observe the effects of global warming on the Antarctic ecosystem. Abdulla is the co-founder of FuGu Energy, an energy and water efficiency services company that looks to improve the environmental performance of existing buildings in Qatar. He has a degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Development Studies.
